Thermon Polar Panel®

Designed to keep your ships’ decks from freezing, Thermon PolarPanel® is manufactured with a 3mm thick marine grade aluminum surface, thereby preventing the formation of ice and slippery surfaces on marine vessels and industrial facilities.

There are two PolarPanel versions available, both based on Thermon’s proven self-regulating electrical heat trace, developed for industrial applications for both hazardous and non-hazardous areas.

Standard PolarPanel®
The modules are 30mm high and include a layer of integral thermal insulation. 40° angle irons are available for roll on/roll off. The modules are rugged and reliable and available with 10.000 kg/f m² up-to 600.000 kg/f m².

PolarPanel®-Plus
The PolarPanel-Plus modules are 40mm thick and contain additional thermal insulation for maximum efficiency and performance. PolarPanel® Stair modules can be placed on top of stair steps or as self-supporting stair steps to reduce weight and eliminate extra step height.

Product materials
High-quality aluminum covered with bead or rice grain pattern.

DNV GL Certified
Thermon Polar Panels and Polar Steps are DNV GL certified for use in basic winterization and cold climate applications. These come in various impact strength types:
Standard, Extra Strength, Heavy Duty.  Thermon Polar Panels come with an installation tool, cable channel packages, flooring bolts, angle corners and sensors.
